Tixologi Overview
Tixologi is a blockchain-based ticketing software that empowers event organizers to take full control of their ticketing experience. By leveraging Web3 technology, Tixologi enables more secure, efficient, and customizable event ticketing, providing both organizers and attendees with an enhanced and seamless experience.

My Role (Overview)
As the Lead Product Designer at Tixologi, I played a pivotal role in the design and launch of two major products. My responsibilities encompassed leading the design process from concept to execution, focusing on both mobile and desktop platforms. I was tasked with delivering all major design assets, including marketing materials and social media content.
In addition to design, I collaborated closely with an engineering team, both in-house and on contract, ensuring the smooth integration of design concepts with development efforts. I led the charge in refining user experiences and improving product aesthetics while maintaining a user-centered design approach.
A Glimpse At a Few Product Designs
Event Creation Flow:
Background:
During my time at Tixologi, I took on the role of Product Designer with a primary focus on streamlining the event creation process for event producers. Tixologi is a leader in event technology, and I was tasked with optimizing an experience that would give event organizers greater control, customization, and richer data.
Challenge:
The major challenge was addressing the complexity of the previous system, which was cumbersome for event producers. Producers sought a more flexible, intuitive platform that offered greater customization, easier data access, and enhanced revenue-generation capabilities. The existing system was difficult to use, and many customers were demanding a simpler, more efficient solution.
Approach:

1. Stakeholder Interviews:  I initiated stakeholder interviews to understand pain points, ultimately shaping the redesign with their feedback to ensure it aligned with user needs and business goals.
2. User-Centered Design:  I led the redesign of the event creation flow to make it intuitive, streamlined, and visually appealing, incorporating feedback from our user base to improve usability.
3. Customization & Control:  By introducing customizable event templates, I empowered producers to fully tailor the look and feel of their event pages, giving them more control over the event creation process.
4. Data Enrichment:  To provide more robust insights, I integrated advanced data analytics tools, allowing producers to track ticket sales, customer data, and other key metrics in real-time.
5. Revenue Generation:  I introduced upselling features, such as VIP packages and early bird pricing, enhancing the monetization potential for event producers.
The Event Creation Flow
When we began ideating and developing Tixologi 2.0 to better serve non-enterprise users, our goal was to create a product that was both fun and easy to use. For the first Event Creation Flow, I focused on incorporating large imagery to maintain user engagement throughout the process, which could otherwise feel lengthy. I also introduced step markers to guide users seamlessly from one stage to the next, enhancing both clarity and experience.
Tixologi 1.0
Ideation 1
After analyzing the product, audience needs, and business objectives, Tixologi chose to adopt a more structured design, similar to the original Tixologi Enterprise project. We decided to revert to dark mode, which aligns with our brand's identity. To maintain an engaging user experience, I introduced pops of color and minimalist graphics, which provide a playful yet professional aesthetic. Additionally, we streamlined the user interface by prioritizing essential information first, ensuring that users aren’t overwhelmed and can focus on the most critical steps.

Results:

Streamlined Event Creation: The redesigned process reduced the time it took event producers to create events by 50%, improving overall efficiency.
Empowered Producers:   With 60% of producers adopting the new templates, they were able to offer a more diverse and engaging range of events. The increased customization options allowed producers to feel more in control of their events.
Data-Driven Decision Making: By integrating real-time data analytics, event producers were able to make more informed decisions, leading to a 40% increase in event performance.
Key Takeaways:

1. User-Centered Design: Listening to user feedback and iterating based on their needs is essential for creating a product that truly serves the user while achieving business goals.
2.  Customization & Control: Offering producers greater control over their event pages allowed for more flexibility and personalization, leading to higher user satisfaction.
3.  Data Analytics Integration: The ability to use data analytics for performance tracking helped event organizers refine their strategies and enhance event outcomes.
Conclusion:

Through this project, we successfully optimized the event creation flow, providing Tixologi users with more flexibility, richer data, and the potential for increased revenue. This case study showcases the impact of user-centered design and data-driven decision-making in creating products that meet the needs of both users and organizations.
